BIPOC rate for August sheepskin tanning workshop
August 4-6. price listed is for half the cost of the workshop as a deposit to hold your space.
over the full three days (Friday-Sunday) we will go through the process of transforming a raw sheep hide into a beautiful sheepskin using the completely natural and ancient process of brain/smoke tan. please plan to arrive Thursday evening and leave Sunday evening/afternoon. camping will be available on the land with composting toilets and outdoor showers. we will share a provided meal on Saturday evening and simple breakfast foods will be provided. because of the nature of these workshops refunds are not available. more info will be provided via email before the event. workshop will take place in Boonville Ca (Mendocino county about 3 and a half hours north of San Francisco. please plan to arrive the evening of the 3rd for our first meal together.
